Site Manager - Social Housing refurbishment
A national social housing contractor specializing in the refurbishment and maintenance of council properties are seeking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to work on internal and external social housing refurbishment schemes. Works will include kitchen and bathroom replacements, rewires, central heating upgrades, window and door replacements, roofing and Solar Panel installations.
Reporting to a Contracts Manager you will be responsible for:
1. Managing a team consisting of a General Foremen, Tradesman, Subcontractors and Tenant Liaison Officer
2. Ensuring works are being carried out to programme and within budget
3. Monitoring health and safety on site
4. Attending progress meetings, client meetings
5. Liaising with tenants and resolving any issues that may arise
To apply for this role is it essential that you have previous experience working on social housing refurbishments schemes.
You will have the ability to make quick decisions and work under pressure. Good customer care skills are paramount as you will be working in live environments in tenanted properties. It is also essential that you are First aid qualified, hold a CSCS Management Card, and a valid SMSTS certificate.
It is also essential that you live within the Carlisle catchment area and have a CA postcode as this is a specific client requirement.
