Our client is a well respected traditional contractor with a forward thinking ethos within the business. Employing over 250 people throughout the whole business and with work spanning the length and breadth of the North West make this business one of the very busiest.
The role of the Quantity Surveyor / Civil's Experience only
The company have expansion plans ready for 2009 and to assist with this growth they are now seeking to bring in an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team.
You will be required to work within a team of surveyors reporting back to the Managing QS. Generally each surveyor will look after up to 3 different projects from pre contract to final accounts and after care.
The right candidate will have a strong civil engineering background and specifically in utilities including clean water and waste water contracts. Experienced in general ground works is also required plus bridges etc.
