How are your fees structured?
Our fee structure is dependant on the level of service you require. All of our permanent fees are calculated as a percentage of the candidate's first year's remuneration. At Bromak we take pride in being honest and upfront with regards to our fees and these are always agreed prior to a candidate being placed with you.

How do you screen your candidates?
Where possible, we will endeavour to meet with each of our candidates to ensure we have a detailed understanding of their employment history, career aspirations and motivations for seeking a new position.

If this is not possible, we will conduct a thorough and detailed telephone interview to obtain the same information. With temporary/contract candidates, we will ALWAYS obtain references from either past employers or past clients.

Where do you source your candidates?
Bromak uses a wide variety of sources to identify our candidates. We advertise on several job sites and pro-actively market our own website.

In addition to this, we draw upon our knowledge of the construction industry to network and obtain referrals. We also headhunt candidates for specific retained assignments.

What type of positions do you deal with?
Bromak deal with a wide range of contract and permanent positions within the construction industry. We regularly deal with positions from trainee, through to general foreman, site management / project management and all commercial / office positions such as planning, estimating, quantity surveying etc.

What happens if one of your placements proves unsuccessful?
All of our permanent placements are guaranteed for 2 months, which means that if the candidate we have introduced leaves or is deemed unsuitable we will endeavour to locate a suitable replacement.

If we are unable to find a free replacement we will offer you a fee rebate structure which varies depending on how long the candidate was in your employ

Why should we use Bromak over any other recruitment agency?
The main reason why our existing clients use us is that we are focussed entirely on the region surrounding each office. Every one of the candidates that we register lives within 50 miles of the office location and is employed or has been employed by a building or civil engineering contractor, sub-contractor, house builder or developer.
