Liverpool set for £1billion in construction projects
11th November 2015
“Liverpool’s best days are still ahead”
Liverpool Mayor Joe Anderson declares , and rightfully so, as the value of construction projects set to start before the end of 2015 amount to over £1billion. Surely this is proof that Liverpool’s dark days of the recession are a thing of the past.
Due to such significant amounts of money being driven into construction projects, over £1billion worth of developments are on track to be finished by the end of the year. The projects are spread across the face of the city, spanning from Anfield to Josephine Butler House and many in between.
The individual construction sites vary through a range of costs, amounting to a grand total of £1.26billion. The highest value project is the new Royal Liverpool Hospital which is set to be completed in 2017 and clocks in at an impressive £429million. The smallest of the developments is for the refurbishments on the Ablett House student accommodation which amounts to £25million.
With developments in Liverpool continuing to be approved Bromak’s Merseyside branch is business than ever! Last week Recruitment Consultant Simon Hartland joined the Bromak team to focus on permanent recruitment across the Liverpool region.
Hannah Lever, Business Development Director said: “Simon is a great guy and I’m sure he will fit in seamlessly with the existing team in Liverpool. Simon brings with him over 10 years of experience within Construction Recruitment and will be a great asset to the Bromak team in Merseyside.”
