Bromak launches North East centre as growth continues
18th June 2013
Built environment recruitment and training consultancy Bromak is to open a new centre in Durham, as it builds on an impressive year of growth. The centre will provide a North East base for Bromak, supporting the delivery of specialist recruitment and training services for clients from both the public and private sector, within the social housing, construction, civil engineering, house building, maintenance and refurbishment sectors.
The news comes during a buoyant period for the company, which recently announced the appointment of three new directors and surpassed the £10 million turnover milestone for the first time.
The opening of the new Durham centre spreads Bromak’s influence across the UK, which also includes Liverpool, Sheffield, Lichfield and the company’s headquarters at Bolton.
Dave Brooks, managing director of Bromak, said: “Opening a centre in Durham will allow us to supply and service our key clients nationally with a strategically placed network of offices across the UK.
“Bromak has been supplying into the North East for the past eight years, but it’s the volume of work with our core social housing, construction and affordable housing clients that has enabled us to recruit and build a full time team on the ground.
“We chose Durham because there is a large number of major projects planned for the area and also because it is perfectly situated for us to reach most key towns and cities in the region within 30-45 minutes.”
Bromak can now offer comprehensive in-house courses in the North East, including CITB construction skills courses, building on the company’s excellent reputation with existing clients but also opening up opportunities for new clients.
Bromak, which works with major UK contractors, developers, local authorities and housing associations, is the only recruitment consultancy in its sector accredited to deliver Construction Skills training.
