Built environment recruitment and training consultancy Bromak has promoted three of its key staff to director level to help oversee the company’s growth plans. The promotions come as the Bolton-headquartered company announces increased turnover for the past 12 months, passing the £10 million milestone for the first time.
Hannah Lever, 31, has been promoted to the position of business development director. Hannah joined Bromak in 2008 and worked her way up to a senior management position within the company prior to becoming a director. Hannah will be responsible for securing new business as well as developing and retaining existing business. Her priority is to keep Bromak one step ahead of the competition through offering a wider range and better quality of services whilst ensuring value for money.
She is joined by two other new directors, Cameron Berry, and Mathew Bewley, who will take on the roles of operations director and training director respectively. Cameron, 30, from New Zealand, and Mathew, 32, from Chorley, both worked their way up from trainee consultants.
Cameron steps up from his role as regional manager, and will be responsible for ensuring Bromak’s systems, procedures, internal training and quality of service is consistent across all five branches. With a goal of doubling turnover over the next five years, Cameron’s primary focus is on making sure Bromak has a solid foundation on which to build the company to the next level.
Mathew has been promoted from his previous position as Bromak recruitment’s sales director. Mathew and his team are responsible for the newly independent Bromak Training Limited, working with a whole range of clients designing, developing and delivering mandatory, bespoke and highly specialised health, safety, first aid and skills training courses across the UK.
Dave Brooks, managing director of Bromak, said: “The promotion of Cameron, Hannah and Mathew is extremely pleasing. The new management structure will provide us with a strong foundation for further expansion into the next year.
“The new directors will each play a key part in delivering on our growth strategy and I look forward to working closely with them for many years to come.”
Bromak, which works with major UK contractors, developers, local authorities and housing associations, is the only recruitment consultancy in its sector accredited to deliver construction skills training.
