We endeavour to ensure that products that can be recycled are recycled. Recyclable plastics are collected in bins at our head office, cardboard and paper waste, where possible is recycled either through council collections or taken to local waste recycling centres. Printer consumables including toner cartridges are sent back to the suppliers for recycling. General waste is sorted and disposed of inline with the Council’s recycling policies.
When cars are used for business, meetings are organised to coincide with other clients within a similar geographical area so fewer journeys are made. If multiple staff members are attending the same venue car sharing is expected and encouraged. Where possible, use of public transport is encouraged to travel to and from office locations.
All staff members are encouraged to remember to turn electrical appliances off when they are not being used and to keep water usage to a minimum. Where Bromak Ltd is able to dictate, energy efficient light bulbs are also throughout the office buildings and in some areas lighting is sensor controlled to switch off when space is unoccupied.
Bromak Ltd will co-operate and positively impact the communities in which we work through meeting or improving upon relevant legislative, regulatory and environmental codes of practice.
