My client is a family run housebuilder based near South Yorkshire who specialise in bringing high quality homes to the market.
The company is currently undergoing a period of growth and as a result they seek to appoint an Accounts Assistant to start as soon as possible.
Duties will include:
Processing cheque and credit card payments Manage and control the Petty Cash function Maintain records and data in order that information is readily available and easy to access Processing ATR's on the Sub Contractor ledger in a timely manner Raising Sales Ledger invoices as per approved valuations Sending out of remittances for Purchase and Sub Contractor payments General Office administration duties
Ideally; a proven track record of working in a fast paced office environment with an understanding or experience in a similar role would be advantageous. You will be well presented, confident and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and written. You must be fully conversant with all Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and PowerPoint and Outlook.
The position is looking to start as soon as possible, with the salary on offer being £18k - £20k (dependent on experience)
