We are looking to recruit an Administrator / Call Handler for a Social Housing Contract based in Sittingbourne. Our Client is a National Social Housing Contractor looking for a reliable and experienced Administrator for their busy office in Sittingbourne.
The Client is ultimately a Contractor who looks after several different Social Housing contracts from their office such as Reactive Maintenance and Planned works on domestic properties. You will be based in the office in Sittingbourne working on the Reactive Maintenance contract.
Duties will include: " Responsible for the effective execution of all repairs, maintenance and major works. " To communicate with the supply chain, trade suppliers, directly employed operatives and subcontractors, instructing deliveries and order where necessary, providing challenge where appropriate. " Working closely with the senior repairs coordinator for the efficient use of planning and scheduling to maximize productivity and minimize downtime. " To review work orders for accuracy and clarity. " To manage spreadsheets, maintaining data integrity. " Prioritise, plan and schedule all repairs via a generated order. " Be aware of targets including the live orders, KPI results and total jobs received / completed each day. " To issue works orders to the operatives and follow the process to update on the site texts (on REACT). " Manage the "on way" and "on site" screens " Ensure that all available operatives are working at all times or escalate to the repairs coordinator if unable to find a job. " Be proactive and optimize workforce productivity and minimize downtime of operatives. " To present a professional manner to represent the business to the client and customers. " Manage the status of the work control through to completion, including client liaison to coordinate issues as they arise. " Ensure that accurate and detailed job completion information is entered onto the system. " Liaise with area supervisors on any issues or if site visits need to be arranged. " Continually improve the planning and scheduling of works orders. " Build and promote good working relationships with your colleagues and clients.

You will also need a minimum for 4 GCSE's at grade A-C (or equivalent) and they must include Maths and English.
This role is to start with ASAP and will run for 4 - 6 weeks. The hourly rate is £10.79ph.
