Receptionist/Administrator - Immediate Start Available
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Regional Contractor based in Merseyside. They seek to appoint a Receptionist/Administrator for their busy office.
" Accountable for meeting and greeting visitors to the office. " Responsible for handling of incoming and outgoing calls to agreed standards, directing as appropriate. " Receive and relay messages to ensure effective communication within the Company. " Liaise daily with colleagues; developing transparent and trusted partnerships. " Prioritising workload effectively to meet expectations. " Assist colleagues to perform basic administrative functions quickly and efficiently.
" Take pride in maintaining the reception area, keeping it clean and tidy at all times. " Maintain an eye for detail, ensuring work is completed to the highest standards. " Remain focused on continually improving the quality of work delivered and make recommendations to improve the effectiveness of systems and processes. " Take ownership for data integrity, ensuring a high degree of accuracy when completing all tasks. " Adherence to the data protection regulations
" Responsible for handling all incoming calls and company mailbox. " Responsible for controlling & monitoring of all site visitors. " Receive, sort and distribute incoming mail in a timely manner. " Ensure outgoing mail is sent in a timely manner. " Responsible for procurement of items for site including stationery, refreshments, kitchen and janitorial supplies, reordering or replenishing stock as required. " Maintain security by following procedures; monitoring visitors, key access etc. " Control and monitor building access/ door entry system. " Responsible for coordinating and managing meeting rooms; including organisation and housekeeping. " Filing and archiving documents as and when required including management of archive room. " Work with the Training Manager to support in arrangement/ booking of various staff training courses. " Support Senior Management team with diary management and organisation as required. " All other related administrative duties. " Adhere to Company Health and Safety policies and guidelines at all times
Receptionist - Key Skills and Experience
Previous experience working within the same role as a Receptionist, excellent organisation skills and very well presented as you will be the first point of contact for the clients. You will need to have good working knowledge of Microsoft packages especially Excel.
