My client are a market leading contractor specialising in regeneration, affordable housing and education projects across the Yorkshire region. As a result of their growth they are currently looking to recruit a Assistant Tender & Contract Planner to join their offices based in Yorkshire.
You will be responsible for assisting planning and controlling company contracts. You will be involved with a range of refurbishment, social housing decent homes and new build contracts ranging from £500k to £10 million.
Prepare tender programmes, preliminary costs, scaffold schedules and method statements.
Produce contract construction programmes, sub contractor procurement schedules and initial information schedules.
Assist in forecasting potential problems.
Assist with the monitoring of on site progress/progress reporting.
Ensure programme deadlines are met.
Obtaining relevant information from Architects.
Ensure materials are requisitioned on time.
Liaising with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
Ensure contract conditions are met.
Ensure safety regulations are complied with in the Health & Safety planning.
