The Client Our Client is an ethical developer, house-builder and place maker. They build schemes that are respectful towards the environment. Due to the large growth in the company they are currently seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join their team based in Bury St Edmunds. Salary would be around £30k depending in experience.
The Role You'll be responsible for the management of a range of new build houses across their geographical area, working closely with well-known large main contractor and sub-contractors on site.
Responsibilities: - Assisting to ensure Projects are scheduled for works to complete on time and to budget - Overseeing direct and sub-contract labour, resources and materials - Ensuring a pro-active approach to Health & Safety, ensuring projects follow company procedures and legal legislation - Assisting to Maintain a positive relationship with the client, offering a professional service to ensure smooth running of the project - Ensuring quality control is adhered to and works are completed to the highest possible standard
Qualifications & Experience - Degree in Construction Management or an equivalent qualification. - Previous experience working on new builds is highly desirable.
