With excellent relationships with local authorities and a team of over 400 in their head office, this Woodford Green based contractor is only going to keep growing.
Assisting with detailed breakdown of costs for each stage of work
Compiling sub-contract orders, and their subsequent issuing to contractors
Assisting with cost and value reconciliation on all items
Oversee spend on in-house and sub-contract labour, and material procurement
Prepare Cost Value Comparison (Profit & Loss) notes
Various administrative duties
Dealing with projects up to £15 million
Qualifications & Experience
You will have obtained a BSc Quantity Surveying or equivalent - if you are in process of completing this then your application will still be considered
You will have gained experience working for a multi-million pound turnover contractor, ideally within the Essex / London area
Experience working at Assistant level and on projects ranging from £3m to £20m + would be highyl advantageous
Having worked in a Commercial team where you are used to reporting into a Managing Surveyor is desirable
a UK Driving License is essential as there will be elements of the job that'll require travel to and from site
