An established and award-winning Social Housing Contractor looking for a permanent Assistant Site Manager to join their growing team.
The company specialise in refurbishment and new build projects within the Social Housing sector and due to an increase in work load are looking to increase their staff to cover Manchester based projects.
As an Assistant Site Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the Site Manager in the running of the site, with occasional visits from the Contracts Manager.
Your duties will include but not be limited to:-
Requisition of materials;
Assisting the Site Manager with the managing of site team including, Tradesmen, Subcontractors and Tenant Liaison Officers, ensuring works are being carried out to programme and within budget;
Updating the construction programme;
Monitoring health and safety on site;
Attending progress and client meetings as well as monthly cost meetings when required;
Liaising with tenants and resolving any issues that may arise.
The successful candidate MUST have a proven track record of working as an Assistant Site Manager within the Social Housing sector.
You must have a sound knowledge of Health & Safety on site and have good technical and commercial awareness. In addition, you MUST hold a relevant CSCS card, SSSTS/SMSTS and valid First Aid.
