We have an exciting opportunity for a number of Assistant Site Managers to join an established and award-winning luxury house builder, with requirements on schemes across the Midlands.
Schemes will consist of a mixture of 3 - 6 bed properties with sites consisting of around 20 plots.

Their focus is to build high-specification homes in premium locations to meet the current modern living requirements within the region.
They are recognised by the many prestigious awards and have been honoured year-on-year with the National House Building Council (NHBC) certification in both quality and health and safety.
Assistant Site Manager Duties
They currently have three requirements for Assistant Site Manager's to join their team on developments across the Midlands. The site will consist of around 20 units, ranging from 3 - 6 bed properties.
The requirements are spread across the next 6 months with the first site having an almost immediate opening. Candidates will be shortlisted accordingly to their notice periods unless discussed otherwise.
Reporting to the Contracts Manager, as an Assistant Site Manager your duties will include:-
Taking ownership alongside the Site Manager on the agreed build program at pre-start meetings and assist the Site Manager in accepting and checking the full build package
Ensure that Health & Safety procedures are strictly adhered to
Maintain and produce, up to-date Health & Safety records
Conform fully to building regulations & warranty providers requirements (NHBC, LABC)
Assist with ensuring cost effective production in line with development budgets by ensuring that the work undertaken is in full accordance with the cost provision allocated
Assist with organisation of regular site production meetings and pre-plan and ensure efficient usage of all resources
Ensure that accurate production/progress returns are updated
Assist the Site Manager to ensure H&S, Environmental & Waste Policies are adhered to
Ensure practical completions are formulated with sales to ensure mutual compatibility
Assist with ensuring site security and good practice is maintained at all times
Ensure a sensible level of stock control in accordance with build requirements including checks and recordings of deliveries
Ensure the quality of finished product meets the Company and warranty expectations
Ensure sub-contractors work to the required specification
Ensure site management cover in times of holiday cover, training and unexpected sickness of the Site Manager
Ensure plots are finished to high standard by taking ownership of plots until completion
Take responsibility for the supervision of cranes
Carry out home tours and demonstrations
Ensure air testing is carried out and units passed
Accompany build inspector whilst CML is carried out
Carry out monthly meter readings
Liaise with Clerk of Works, ensuring his comments are carried out accordingly.
Assistant Site Manager - Skills & Experience
The client is looking for ambitious and driven managers who are looking to work hard and progress whose career plan would be to progress to Site Management within the next 2/3 years. Other qualities required include:-
Previous experience working with a house builder;
Good man-management skills as well as being a team player;
The ability to liaise professionally with internal and external personnel;
Be driven by producing a quality product but also be willing and keen to learn;
Essential - CSCS Card, First Aid Ticket and SMSTS or SSSTS.
What's on offer?
Basic salary of £35,000 - £45,000 is on offer plus company package which includes car allowance, discretionary bonus scheme, pension, DIS and 25 days holidays.
