Assistant Site Manager - New Build Housing
We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Site Manager for a development based in Liverpool . The company are a medium sized housebuilder who are growing in the North West region, as a company they deliver a wide range of homes from starter homes for first time buyers to 4 bed family homes at affordable prices.
The role - Assistant Site Manager
As an Assistant Site Manager you will be assisting the Site Manager in their daily duties in running a busy development. Duties will include:
" Read and understand Specification, Drawings, Preliminaries and Contract Documentation. " Ensure compliance of all Company policies and procedures by the site team and subcontractors " Assist the site team to monitor orders and deliveries to ensure that all materials are available when required. " Assist the site team to ensure that materials are supplied and fixed in accordance with Contract Specification. " Store all materials in accordance with manufacturers' recommendations to minimise loss and wastage. " Assist the site team to ensure sub -contractors are kept advised of Site requirements " Assist site team to distribute information & receive information from the subcontractors " Keep Site Manager / Contracts Manager advised of all problems with sub -contractors and materials. " Assist the site team in updating the Construction Programme on a weekly basis " Ensure that the Site Offices and Storage Compound reflects a professional image " Work closely with design team, customers, subcontractors and suppliers and maintain good working relationships. " Liaise with Sales department and customers to ensure the highest possible Customer Care performance/ satisfaction and complete all relevant inspections and documentation " Deputise for Site Management when necessary " Assist the site team to ensure current Safety, Health and Welfare requirements are met and implemented " Undertake site safety induction for all new site personnel, if Site Manager is unavailable
Key skills and Abilities
The successful Assistant Site Manager will have previous experience working on new build housing developments with the detailed knowledge of building process and ability to demonstrate good technical knowledge of the housing market. You will ideally come from a trade background and will hold valid SSSTS or SMSTS, First Aid, any further training would be an added bonus.
What is on Offer?
You will benefit from a basic salary from £30-35k, company car or allowance of £4,500, mileage (personal and business), company pension, bonus scheme and medical cover.
