An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join an award winning house builder based in the South Midlands.
My client are an award winning house builder in the UK who, due to planned growth, are currently recruiting for an Assistant Site Manager to be based in the Upper Heyford area. This house builder have a wide range of homes for first time buyers to family homes offering all-inclusive specifications. All homes are built to exacting industry standards and undergo regular inspections by the NHBC to ensure quality of build. The company have a dedicated commitment to quality and service and will be looking for candidates who can demonstrate a similar ethos. The Role - Assistant Site Manager
Reporting to the Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing a high quality site to ensure that a development is built to company and NHBC standards using specified drawings and instructions within budget and on programme. Duties will include:
" Supervision of all sub-contract labour " Co-ordinate the activities of all the trades and disciplines involved on-site so that all operations are performed efficiently and in accordance with the construction programme " Snagging properties " Manage Health & Safety on site " Updated site records/reports " Carry out site inductions, risk assessments, method statements, etc The Benefits

The Experience Required
You will need to have previous supervisory experience, ideally within an Assistant Site Management role for a volume house builder. You should be able to demonstrate a track record of quality and have a stable career history.
SMSTS, CSCS Card & First Aid are minimum requirements.
You must have the ability to motivate and manage subcontractors and a team of staff, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, an eye for detail and build quality, good working knowledge of NHBC Standards and be able to work under pressure to meet build programme and deadlines for handover.
