Assistant Site Manager required for an award-winning new build housing contractor based in the Salford area on a temporary basis.
My client are a prestige house builder operating in the North West building bespoke homes. The properties range from 4-5-bedroom houses located in up and coming attractive areas.
As Assistant Site Manager you will be working on the successful completion of the new build houses. Working alongside the Site Manager you will be responsible for assisting the site team with the development and completion in accordance with the agreed plan and programme.
Duties will include:
Supervision of all sub-contractor labour
Co-ordinate the duties of all the trades and disciplines involved on site so that all operations are performed efficiently and in accordance with the programme.
Manage all the Health & Safety on site and complete relevant documentation daily/weekly etc
Scheduling work to be carried out to ensure production targets are achieved and high quality of product is maintained.
Comply with company policies, procedures and instructions
Liaise with Site Manager & Materials Controller with regards to positioning/storing and protection materials.
Key Skills and Abilities
To be considered for the Assistant Site Manager role the applicant must have a proven track record working on a new build housing developments in volume with a trade background. You must have an exceptional level of Health & Safety Awareness and hold valid supporting certificates, knowledge of building legislation and hold a CSCS Manager Card, SMSTS, SSSTS, First Aid and Scaffold Inspection.
You will be working an average of 45 hours per week (with additional weekend cover).
The rate of pay is £21p/h
