Assistant Site Manager - New Build Housing
A Five star house builder have a requirement for an Assistant Site Manager to join their build team for a new development near Crewe.
The company are a medium sized builder who are proud of their reputation for quality and dedicated customer service.
Assistant Site Manager - The Role
You will initially be working on an existing development based in Crewe which is due for completion in the summer months. You will be required to complete the development when the existing for the remaining 2 months when the Site Manager moves onto a new development in Congleton. On completion of the development you will also move onto the new development in Congleton.
Reporting to the Site Manager, you will be a key member of the project team, delivering all operational activities through to development completion.
" Emphasis will be placed on health and safety, cost management against budget customer satisfaction; quality; and direct employee/ subcontractor management and development. " Managing the operational team, the Assistant Site Manager will ensure effective delivery of pre-agreed targets for QHSE, people management and development, financial and operational performance, and customer satisfaction. " Providing accurate information, demonstrating variance of cost of additional works; prelims; dayworks; labour; plant and material to the Site Manager. " Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external project teams to maximise success of projects and positively impact on customer satisfaction.
Skills & Experience required
The successful Assistant Site Manager must have previous experience working on new build housing developments delivering properties to a high standard. You will ideally come from trade background (joinery / bricklaying) and will have good eye for detail. It is also essential to hold valid SSSTS OR SMSTS and First Aid Certificate and a relevant CSCS card.
