An established and award winning Social Housing Contractor looking for experienced permanent Assistant Site Managers to join their growing team.

Site: 23 Storey high-rise internal and external refurbishment of 130+ social housing apartments.

£25,000 - £33,000 basic salary plus package

The Client

My client is an established regional social housing contractor based in the North West.

They specialise in refurbishment and new build projects within the Social Housing sector and due to an increase in work load are looking to increase their staff and take on a number of Assistant Site Managers to work on up-coming high-rise refurbishment in Salford. Works will include both internal and external including external wall installations and kitchens & bathrooms.

For this role it is paramount that you have experience working on previous high-rise schemes. If your CV does not illustrate this experience unfortunately you will not be considered for the role.

The Role

As an Assistant Site Manager, you will be responsible for running the site, with occasional visits from the Contracts Manager.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:-

  • Requisition of materials;
  • Managing a site team including Tradesmen, Subcontractors and Tenant Liaison Officers, ensuring works are being carried out to programme and within budget;
  • Updating the construction programme;
  • Monitoring health and safety on site;
  • Chairing and attending progress and client meetings as well as monthly cost meetings;
  • Liaising with tenants and resolving any issues that may arise.

The successful candidate MUST have a proven track record of working as an Assistant Site Manager within the Social Housing sector specifically with vast experience working high-rise schemes with a main contractor on a Kitchen and Bathroom Scheme's.

You must have a sound knowledge of Health & Safety on site and have good technical and commercial awareness. In addition, you MUST hold a relevant CSCS card, SSSTS/SMSTS and valid First Aid.

The Salary

This is an exciting opportunity to join an establish company with exciting pipeline of projects lined up.

You will be offered a salary of £25,000 - £33,000 plus package including car allowance, private healthcare, pension etc.
