General Contractor looking for enthusiastic Assistant Site Manager to join their ever-growing company.
Working on projects across the North West on a mix of leisure, residential and commercial projects.

A newly established contractor based in the North West. The company is going from strength to strength and have a requirement for an enthusiastic and driven Assistant Site Managers for their projects within Manchester City Centre.
The company deliver a mix of commercial, residential and leisure facilities, with 4 major Manchester City projects in progress and an impressive order book for future projects.
This role will be have you working underneath an experience Site Manager.
Due to an increase in work they are looking for self-motivated, knowledgeable Assistant Site Manager who wants to take ownership of a project whilst receiving first class support from the Site Manager.
Reporting directly to the Site Manager, your duties will include assisting with:-
Achieving production targets and carry out programming and monitoring to ensure that deadlines are met
Reading and understanding specifications, drawings, preliminaries, preambles and contract documentation
Producing H&S and O&M on completion of projects
Requisition and management of materials/delivery
Issuing subcontractors with regular short term programmes to ensure planned progress is achieved
Attending and chairing progress meetings
Giving consideration to the tender allowances when establishing the site compound
Liaising with the design team, clients, subcontractors and suppliers to and maintain good working relationships
Attending monthly cost meetings and agree contribution forecast
Obtaining risk assessments and method statements from contractors prior to work commencement
Safe storage and co-ordination of materials
Preparing and assisting with the site progress reports.
Requirements & Qualifications
You must be driven and motivated individual, with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
You must also have the appropriate CSCS Management Card, SSSTS and First Aid tickets.
In return for your skills, the client is looking to pay a basic salary of £30K - £35K plus package. (Higher salaries can be discussed for more experienced candidates).
