A young and dynamic contractor require an Assistant Manager from an Electrical or Mechanical background to join their growing team.
Working on projects across the North West of England on a mix of Commercial, Educational, Industrial and Residential works.
Salary on offer of £30K - £35K plus company package.

A building services specialist experienced in providing a range of mechanical and electrical works for a wide range of clients.
They offer a range of services from heating installations to full electrical rewires to the following sectors: Commercial, Educational, Industrial, Residential and Retail.
The Role- Assistant Site Manager
To report directly to the M&E Site Manager on all matters relating to the day to day running of the development.
To take responsibility for the required standards of Health and Safety, protection of works, presentation and quality of the product on site.
You will be requested to work under an experienced M&E Site Manager on one of the company's prestigious Manchester City centre projects.
Duties & Responsibilities
Your duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:-
Assisting the Site Manager with Health & Safety, Environmental and Waste policies and procedures are being strictly-adhered to including visitors on site;
Maintaining and producing up-to-date Health & Safety records;
Ensuring that staff, sub-contractors and visitors to the site are appropriately inducted;
Complying with the Company's Customer Satisfaction Policies and Procedures;
Ensuring directly employed personnel and sub-contractors work within the required specification and adhere to Company Policies;
Ensuring site presentation is maintained at the correct standard at all times;
Assisting with agreed build programmes at pre-start meetings and accept and check the full build package handed over at this meeting by the Company;
Sending production/progress returns to the Project Manager and ensuring that anything which is likely to affect the Company's performance is notified to the Project Manager immediately;
Ensuring site security and good practice is always maintained;
Ensuring sensible level of stock control in accordance with build requirements;
Ensuring the quality of finished product;
Ensuring all site administration is carried out in accordance with requirements;
And any other reasonable tasks in accordance with operational/Site Manager needs.
To qualify for this role, you will require the following:-
Previous trade and site experience - either mechanical or electrical.
CSCS Card at Site Manager Level
Valid CITB SMSTS Certificate
Valid First Aid at Work Certificate
City and Guilds Qualification (desirable)
Scaffold Appreciation (desirable)
You will be located on a Manchester based site, so this role would suit someone with a good network links to Manchester city centre.
In return for your skills, the client is looking to pay a basic salary of £30,000 to £35,000 plus package (including Car allowance, pension, mobile phone, laptop, membership to bonus scheme, 25 days holidays plus bank holidays).
