Salary: £45000 - £55000 per annum + Additional benefits
You will be working as a Bid Writer for a large building contractor which has a focus on many different sectors in and around the South-East. They have had a presence in the London and Essex construction market for over 50 years, with projects typically ranging from £1m - £10m in value, across Housing, Education and Healthcare. Due to continued expansion, they require a Bid Writer to join the bids & pre-construction team.
You'll be responsible for the coordination, preparation and presentation of Bids to win tenders for various main contract projects. You will be tasked with managing this process from the start to finish whilst keeping constant and accurate communication throughout. Attending meetings and liaising with the pre-construction team will also be part of the Bid Writer role. Qualifications & Experience:
You will be expected to have got at least 5 years' experience in Bid Writing and tender management for a Construction main contractor. Qualifications that are preferred include a Degree in Construction Management or Commercial Management along with strong communication skills, written and spoken.
