Bid Writer - Construction Freelance or Permanent ASAP start £30-35k (Negotiable depending on experience, qualifications & skillset) Nottinghamshire
The Client Our Client specialises in providing Fire Safety and Passive Fire Protection from project conception through construction to remedial works. This ranges from products that might be part of the building or installed to the building to enhance its fire protection system. They also offer qualified HS&E consultancy, expert witness services, training and guidance throughout. Due to vast expansion, they are looking to recruit a Bid Writer based from their offices in Nottinghamshire.
The Role As the Bid Writer, you will work closely with the Bid Manager and Bid Team and will write, proof-read and sub-edit content to a high standard to produce quality tenders for bid submission.
Management of the tender and bid submission process
Write, edit and proof read the information for tender submission for all business areas
To work effectively with operational teams to ensure new and existing business opportunities are maximised to support the company's business plan and growth targets.
Review tender requirements and present scoping documents to support informed decisions.
Manage and implement project plans to ensure effective management of all tender and bid submissions.
Take full responsibility for each tender to submission
Research new information from industry resources, the internet, trade subscriptions, relevant research and reports, internal documents and service users.
Attend and participate in provider presentations when required.
Review incoming tenders and identify key information to be completed for each tender.
Populate all sections of each tender, ensuring that the documentation is written and presented to the highest possible standard.
Produce persuasive written material.
Work with bid teams to identify project objectives.
Keeping up to date library of model answers.
You must have a proven track record of bid writing within the construction sector
Passive Fire experience desirable not essential
Good working knowledge of relevant IT packages
Excellent communication, literacy and presentation skills.
Ability to juggle workload and deliver multiple priorities within demanding timescales.
Ability to continually improve the quality of work sent out by the company.
Permanent position (or Freelance if preferred)
£30-35k Plus Performance Based Bonus Package
