Roofing Contractor - Business Development Manager Vacancy
This role is to identify new business opportunities within the Construction Industry through lead generation, developing relationships with both new and existing clients, suppliers & partners.
You will be required to deliver agreed sales and margin targets within set territory.
A young and dynamic roofing contractor operating within the Commercial and Industrial sectors across the UK. With offices in the North West, and planned offices in Yorkshire and the Midlands my client is well placed to service throughout the UK with a substantial client portfolio of public and private sector organisations including local authorities, healthcare and educational bodies.
The company was established in the early millennium and have grown steadily year on year. With an ambitious growth plan currently in place they are seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Manager to implement sales and growth techniques within the Yorkshire region.
Role - Business Development Manager
To drive the business through the development and maintenance of clients and suppliers to identify appropriate opportunities and manage the submission of compelling offers within your given region.
The company has a mission statement to be the choice roofing contractor by any customer, team or supplier whilst having a positive impact on the community in which they work.
Your role is to have a positive impact to further the company's exposure within the Construction market.
Reporting to the company's Sales Director the duties of this role will include but not be limited to:-
Delivering agreed sales and margin targets within the Yorkshire & the North East.
Maintaining and developing relationships with existing clients, suppliers and partners.
Identifying new business opportunities through lead generation and meeting with potential clients and construction professionals.
To build and maintain pipeline works.
Making quotes for new business opportunities and present these in a professional manner as an ambassador for the company.
Researching and keeping up to date with the current market
Creating professional monthly reports including sales forecasts, job status updates and competitor intelligence.
Prior sales experience within the Construction Industry, those with experience selling roofing material specifications will be at a distinct advantage.
You should be a driven and passionate salesman with a track record in successfully converting cold contacts to warm leads. Able to create superior deals through a win-win approach using good judgement and effective communication.
You will be responsible for innovating and developing your own desk so it is important that you are able to work accurately and effectively in a fast paced environment.
It is also the responsibility of the individual to request training from their line manager to remain complaint with regulatory and company rules - this role requires a Working at Height ticket and a full clean driving licence. Training will be organised for the successful candidate prior to joining the company.

Realistic 1st Year O.T.E of £60k uncapped.
