My client is a multi-disciplinary engineering and construction company working in the water and wastewater industry.
They are looking to recruit a Commercial Assistant to join their department, reporting to the Senior Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for providing accurate and effective support to the Team
" Assist in the evaluation of sub-contractor quotations, attend sub-contractor pre-contract meetings and prepare, format, issue and monitor sub-contract agreements from production to completion " Format, issue and monitor Letters of Intent, Letters of Instruction and Final Account statements as requested " Assist with material and plant orders " Assist with production of monthly commercial reports, profit and loss reports and valuation submissions " Identify, record and price compensation events, variations and additional works " Assist in the monitoring of costs and value on a large number of projects " Manage and collate monthly KPI data " Maintain databases and electronic filing using their in-house system
Commercial Invoice - Skills & Experience
The successful applicant must be experience in Excel to an intermediate level as well as using Word. In addition you must hold a minimum NVQ2 in Business Admin or other relevant field. The role calls for you to be extremely organises, methodical and have an eye for detail and accuracy and be able to prioritise workload.
