Our client, a National House Builder - are looking for a Commercial Manager to work in their Doncaster office on a temporary basis.
The role of the Commercial Manager will be to oversee all commercial elements of a suite of projects together with holding a wider interest in the overall commercial performance of the Region.
They will assist with maximising profitability, protecting the company's legal and contractual obligations and leading on all financial and commercial issues.
They will provide support to the Region's board of directors in identifying and managing risk with all relevant mitigation measures, ensuring accuracy of financial reporting at all times.
They will aspire to the highest standards of Commercial leadership and behaviours, acting decisively and promptly to achieve the best outcomes for the company.
They maintain, promote and retain strong relationships with external parties providing mutual benefits and promoting teamwork and co-operation across all other departments.
They will have a good understanding and adhere to the company SHEQ policy / strategy, setting a positive and pro-active
The ideal candidate for this will also have Good construction contractual knowledge. You will also have previous PFI knowledge. You will need to be Methodical worker and have transferable construction experience. Having previous Housing experience will be advantageous. You will also need a wide contract knowledge and knowledge of dispute work is also an advantage.
Interviews for this position will commence week beginning 3rd July. The role will mostly be Doncaster based, however, some travel may be required.
This is a temporary position starting ASAP after interview stages, the hourly rate on offer will be an UMB rate of £59.04ph. The position will run until approximately October 2017.
