A successful and well established Contractor have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Contracts Manager to join them on a permanent basis, due to recently being awarded several new contracts.
The company operate nationally and work on a number of National Frameworks in the Retail, Banking & Leisure sector as well as undertaking Design & Build Construction projects in a variety of sectors, particularly in the Commercial, Industrial & Leisure sector. Contract values range from £500k - £5m.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Regular site visits on a weekly basis making sure all Site Managers and projects are running to programme - Assisting the Site Managers with any problems or concerns on site - Senior management meetings on progression of sites making sure directors are aware of each development - Discussing build-ability and design issues - Managing Health & safety - Programming and planning all works - Devising a build programme - Being the company representative at Client meetings - Recruitment of staff, organising trades and labour - Ensuring KPI's are being achieved - General delivery of the contract
The successful candidate will initially be working on Hotel & Office Refurbishments and must have experience managing multiple sites in the Leisure & Commercial sectors. You must be happy travelling nationally with an office base in the North West.
You must also have a valid SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, Asbestos Awareness and Scaffold Inspection.
In return for your skills, the company will offer a basic salary of between £55-60k (depending on experience and level) + attractive package, including car allowance, pension, healthcare etc.
