My client are a well-established, regional Social Housing specialising in regeneration and affordable housing in the North West. Their portfolio of work spans across internal, external and environmental upgrades to tenanted and void properties. They work closely with a number of local authorities, housing associations and RSL.
The company are currently going from strength to strength and are currently seeking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to run 4 contracts which will include voids, kitchen & bathrooms, day to day repairs and disabled adaptations. This is a temporary - permanent position owing to the urgent nature of the role.
You will be reporting to the Managing Director and will be responsible for ensuring your contracts are delivered with time and budget. Additional duties include:
Managing weekly/monthly programmes
Managing Health & safety
Programming and planning all works
Managing site teams consisting of Site Managers/Foreman/Tradesmen
Being the company representative at Client meetings
Recruitment of staff, organising trades and labour
Ensuring KPI's are being achieved
General delivery of the contract
To qualify for this exciting opportunity you MUST have previous experience working on social housing refurbishment contracts working to strict deadlines along with a proven track record to deliver projects within timescales and budgets. You must also have SMSTS, with First Aid and Asbestos Awareness being ideal but not essential.
In return for your skills, the company offer a competitive basic salary (hourly rate whilst you are through Bromak) and package.
