Our client a Main Contractor based in Leeds is looking to appoint a Contracts Manager to manage key accounts for their company throughout the U.K
The client is involved in Design & Build projects between the value of £500K-£10m including New Builds, Refurbishments and Fit-Outs throughout the U.K. The work involves close working relationships with key clients and internal departments.
The Role - Contracts Manager
The role will include the following:
Liaise with the client and take briefs, attend meetings and interpret into design schemes
Source suitable materials and labour
Produce quotations and manage prices within the brief
Place orders and keep to budgets constrained by the project
Arrange labour and transport for installation of projects
Produce H&S documentation in line with the group policy
Attend site visits to ensure the projects are being fitted to the quality parameters expected by the clients
Working under tight deadlines
Managing a Site team
Reporting to the companies Directors.
The Experience - Contracts Manager
The work involves coordination of all trades and sub-contractors.
This requires an all round knowledge of general building and maintenance methods and the use of traditional and contemporary materials and finishes.
Previous experience in contract management is essential
SMSTS, (Black) CSCS Card, 1st Aid
The Benefits - Contracts Manager
The client is paying a salary between £55,000-£60,000 for this role dependent upon experience plus additional benefits
