Award-winning property maintenance, refurbishment and new build specialist looking to recruit a Contracts Manager to join their operational team covering North Wales.
Summary - Contracts Manager
With responsibility for the control and management of a number of Site Managers across social housing refurbishment and maintenance projects, as the Contracts Manager you must ensure contracts are completed to programme, with zero defects, within budget and with no risks to health and safety of the team, clients or general public.
The successful Manager will be client facing and must have strong experience in social housing projects ideally experience in refurbishment, refit and planned works in particular with Decent Homes and Public Sectors Contractors.
Responsibilities of a Contracts Manager
Assist in the preparation, processing and selection of estimates, bids and tenders.
Assist in the development of the procurement programme.
Assist in the presentation of the contract brief to the client.
Manage the selection and formation of site personnel, including sub-contractors.
Manage site personnel, work activities and resources to meet each individual contracts requirements.
Control contracts towards completion.
Control contract budgets.
Ensure all necessary contract documents and reports are accurate and produced on time.
Previous experience working as a Contracts Manager on social housing contracts required.
SMSTS, CSCS Card, First Aid and Asbestos Awareness required.
Confident IT Skills, and proficient in MS Office.
Flexible in hours of work, travel and hold a Full UK Driving Licence.
