A National, Award Winning Main Contractor seeks to appoint a Contracts Manager to work on various developments in the East Anglia region. The successful candidate will have good technical construction knowledge, be commercially aware, well organised and must be capable of managing complex projects; with a value from £2.5M to £8M We are looking for someone that will have construction experience in some of the following sectors: Local Authority, Housing, Insurance, Education, Commercial, Industrial and Health. " Liaise with the client and take briefs, attend meetings and interpret into design schemes " Source suitable materials " Produce quotations and manage prices within the brief " Place orders and keep to budgets constrained by the project " Arrange labour and transport for installation of projects " Produce H&S documentation in line with the group policy " Attend site visits to ensure the projects are being fitted to the quality parameters expected by the clients " Working under tight deadlines " The role will involve the management and support of several Site Teams on projects with a value from £2.5M to £8M. " The successful candidate will have the ability to work closely and develop relationships with our Clients. " Working with other Senior Managers and Site Teams, the Contracts Manager will ensure projects under his/her control are delivered to the required standards in terms of Health and Safety, Quality, Programme and Budget.
The company pay very competitively, with a basic salary of up to £55k plus Group Personal Pension, profit related pay, company car or car allowance, employee share scheme and opportunities for further training, development and progression.
Qualifications & Experience
" Previous experience working with a main contractor is essential in addition to previous housebuilding experience " SMSTS, CSCS & First Aid qualifications are essential " A degree/HNC in a related subject would be advantageous
