Contracts Manager North West London Temporary to Permanent £Negotiable depending on experience, skill set & qualifications
The Client My Client is one of the UK's leading providers of planned and responsive maintenance services in the Social Housing sector, maintaining more than 500,000 properties Nationwide every year. Due to demand, my Client is looking to recruit a Contracts Manager to oversee a number of Reactive Maintenance contracts across the North & West London regions.
The Role Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will be responsible for managing a number of Social Housing Reactive Maintenance schemes ensuring these are delivered on time and within budget
Duties Contributing to the achievement of the Health & Safety objectives Delivering appointed packages to the client within budget Working with the Project Manager to develop detailed and accurate programmes of work Managing the budget and delivery of the section/package Providing accurate and timely reporting of progress Planning the programming of day-to-day resource requirement Leading section meetings and reviewing progress in productivity and design Preparing method statements and risk assessments Implementing design team and subcontractor drawings and details Interpreting drawings and specifications
Requirements A minimum of 2 years in Contract Management You MUST HAVE previously worked at Contract Manager level on Social Housing Reactive Maintenance projects Detailed knowledge of H&S legislation Excellent leadership, management and communication skills The ability to work under pressure Must demonstrate a proven track record in completing project within tight timescales/deadlines Capable of programming projects
