Vacancy: Contracts Manager, Permanent Location: Managing multiple schemes across Greater Manchester Salary: £43k + 5k car allowance and package
My client are a well-established, reputable Contractor who work nationally, predominantly working in the Social Housing sector but also covering Public Sector and Commercial works.
They are currently looking to recruit an experienced Contracts Manager whose job it will be to ensure the smooth operation of a number of designated maintenance contracts in the Social Housing sector, both to tenanted and void properties.
With responsibility for the control and management of a number of Site Managers the Contract Manager will ensure contracts are completed to programme, with zero defects and within budget.
Reporting to an Operations Manager, your duties will be:
Regular site visits on a weekly basis making sure all Site Managers and projects are running to programme
Assisting the Site Managers with any problems or concerns on site
Managing Health & safety
Programming and planning all works
Being the company representative at Client meetings
Recruitment of staff, organising trades and labour
Ensuring KPI's are being achieved
General delivery of the contract
Monitor budget on individual contracts
Chair meetings when required
The ideal candidate must have previous experience as a Projects/Contracts Manager working for a Social Housing Contractor on refurbishment contracts.
The salary on offer is up to £43k + 5k car allowance and package.
