An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Contracts Manager to join an award winning house builder based in the South Midlands.

The Client

My client are an award winning house builder in the UK who, due to planned growth, are currently recruiting for a Contracts Manager, to cover developments in the South Midlands area.

This house builder have a wide range of homes for first time buyers to family homes offering all-inclusive specifications. All homes are built to exacting industry standards and undergo regular inspections by the NHBC to ensure quality of build. The company have a dedicated commitment to quality and service and will be looking for candidates who can demonstrate a similar ethos.

The Role - Contracts Manager

You'll be managing 4-5 live sites at any one time of varying size but typically no more than 40 units per year for each of the sites.

You'll also be expected to build strong Site Management teams and help them to achieve the best results.

Reporting to the Area Build Manager, some of your duties will include:

" The overall management of 4-5 sites at any one time.
" Ensuring adherence to strict build programmes whilst maintaining the highest quality levels.
" Adherence to all health and safety regulations.
" Ensure all key stage NHBC inspections are met.
" Build and motivate a successful Site Management team.

The Experience Required

In order to be considered for the role, you will need to be able to demonstrate extensive experience in a similar role and be ready to bring your experience to the table quickly.

You'll need to be able to demonstrate a strong record of success in Health & Safety, excellent knowledge of NHBC standards, a strong commercial acumen and the ability to motivate others.
