A great opportunity has arisen for a Contracts Manager from the Property repairs background to join this well established client.
The company itself specialises in complete repairs following building damages, as a result from damages including: fire, flood, leaks, storm damage, degradation and most other types of residential/commercial property.
Preparing cost schedules for repairs
Liaise with subcontractors and ensure they are aware of the works schedule
Liaise with the end-client so they are aware of the process and schedule
Make sure there is good communication between the end-client and the subcontractor
Respond to any queries which may arise and resolve any issues
Obtaining samples for any upcoming works
Visit the work-sites and carry out relevant checks to ensure works are being carried out to schedule and specification
Liaise with relevant subcontractors depending on company requirements
You'll receive training with regards to the in-house systems used as well as any other policies and procedures relating to use of subcontractors.
The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of repair costings, able to plan a job from start to finish as well as relevant RAMS. You'll also need to manage subcontractors ensuring a quality job is done to agreed timescales. An effective communicator end problem solver would also be a desirable attribute.
