Contracts Manager - Fit Out
My client are a leading Contractor in the UK, who operate across three key divisions (Fitout, M&E Services and Maintenance). Although each division is an independent business, all three work together to give their clients a complete service. The company work on a number of National Frameworks in the Retail, Banking & Leisure sector as well as undertaking Design & Build Construction projects in a variety of sectors.
As a result of recent and sustained expansion, they are currently looking to recruit an experienced & motivated Senior Contracts Manager to join their team to manage a busy, national banking framework, with ideally a mixture of Fit Out & New Build Construction experience.
The Senior Contracts Manager will be a key role for the Framework that you are working on therefore, prior experience in a senior operational role within the banking sector is paramount to lead and manage delivery of the fit outs.
As a Contracts Manager, you will have first line management responsibility for a number of Site Managers and also be responsible for:
Support the Frameworks Manager in the management of all operational issues
Responsible for managing contracts' finances and budgets as well as the procurement and management of sub-contractors and materials
Regular site visits on a weekly basis making sure all Site Managers and projects are running to programme
Assisting the Site Managers with any problems or concerns on site
Senior management meetings on progression of sites making sure directors are aware of each development
Ensuring compliance with all aspects of both Health & Safety Legislation and internal H&S Management System
Discussing build-ability and design issues
Managing Health & safety
Programming and planning all works
Devising a build programme
Being the company representative at Client meetings
Recruitment of staff, organising trades and labour
Ensuring KPI's are being achieved
General delivery of the contract

Experience key account management is essential and the successful candidate must also have previous experience managing multiple fast track fit out projects, managing multiple projects. You will ideally have experience in New Build Construction projects and a proven track record of key account management. You will have the ability to plan and monitor project delivery along with impeccable people management skills.
The salary is negotiable depending on experience (up to £60k basic, which may be higher for a more senior candidate) plus an attractive benefits package consisting of £6k car allowance, 5% pension, 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays, free use of the on-site gym, healthcare etc.
