Contracts Manager Design & Build contracts £60,000 - £70,000 basic, company car / allowance, performance related bonus A rare opportunity has presented itself to work for a up and coming business who have experience exponential growth and success since its inception a few years ago. The company operate on a very lean structure and are now looking for a Contracts Manager who is experienced with JCT D&B contracts, preferably on high rise residential projects, to lead several concurrent schemes from conception and managing through to stages to completion. Responsibilities of the role This position will be reporting directly to the Managing Director and will include: " Planning the delivery of multiple projects " Tender process management " Manage the utilisation, implementation of design explaining the work ethics and activities to colleagues. " Report progress on projects by suitable media to sector management, maintain and update project reporting, checkpoints and financial reporting to a high standard. " Plan and arrange visits to projects ensuring every member of the team receives support " Develop contacts with senior staff, directors, and other influential staff within each account during the implementation phase. " Produce reports on each project at agreed intervals, and whenever substantive actions are required. " Manage the company specification and ensure that all projects are delivered to the agreed sales schedules. Skills, Experience & Qualifications The following criteria will be essential to be considered for this position: " Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Management or related discipline " Solid experience in designing and building multi-family residences (PRS) apartment blocks, student and young professionals residential schemes.
