Customer Care Manager
A regional house builder seeks to appoint a Customer Care Manager to head up their Customer Care department based near Preston.
The company specialise in new build quality homes in highly sought locations across the North West. Properties range from luxury detached homes in select environments, starter homes in up and coming regeneration areas, spacious family homes or chic city centre apartments.
The Role - Customer Care Manager
Reporting to Construction Director you will be working in a busy Customer Care team providing an efficient and effective Customer Care to new build developments in the North West region
Duties and responsibilities for the Customer Care Manager
" Visit customers and assess works required and manage rectification, when required " Conduct a quality audit on each designated site on a quarterly basis and complete all reports and administration documents as required " Conduct final inspection visits on build completions " Ensure that all reported defects are dealt with in a cost effective, timely and professional manner to the satisfaction of the purchaser " Prepare monthly plans with Customer Care Technicians and agree job priorities " Ensure that any major issues are reported to the Head of department " Identify common complaints/defects and report to Head of Customer Care " Ensure that all NHBC resolutions are escalated and communicated appropriately
The successful Customer Care Manager must have at least 3 to 5 years previous experience working in a similar role for a house builder manging the warranty period. You will have excellent Customer Service skills and good technical / construction knowledge of the house building process. Additional skills required include:
" Detailed understanding of NHBC customer handover requirements " Ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills " Ability to display a tactful and assertive attitude " Ability to handle complaints and difficult situations " Excellent problem solving and decision making skills " Ability to remain calm and patient whilst working under pressure " Have strong organisational, people management, planning and negotiation skills " Valid CSCS card " Hold a full driving licence
