Bromak are representing a family run housebuilder based in Bradford who are looking to create a Customer Care team due to business needs. As a result of sustained growth, they are looking for a Customer Care Assistant to work in a standalone role.
You will have a natural passion for customer service and be confident dealing with customers and advising on snagging issues which will then become resolved. As a Customer Service Assistant, you will report to Managing Director working on new ways to consistently provide excellent customer service.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Deal directly with customers by telephone, email or occasionally by letter or face to face
Ensure that the company database is kept fully up to date with all relevant information regarding snags, appointments and work that has been carried out to rectify.
Carry out a review of each individual snag in conjunction with the site manager to establish whether it is a snag.
Arrange appointments with relevant trades for snags to be resolved.
Communicate and co-ordinate with internal buying departments and outside suppliers.
Ensure the Accounts and Buying department are made aware of any re-chargeable work.
Liaise with the LABC regarding claims.
Familiarise self with individual housing associations SLA's that are derived from the legal contract.
Handle complex and escalated customer service issues and liaise with Directors on these where necessary.
Monitor snags from beginning to end until a satisfactory conclusion is reached for all parties.
Ensure the company database is reviewed on a regular basis and that snags are kept below target levels.
Provide appropriate support and cover when needed to the office administrator and office manager including answering the phone during busy periods.
