Bromak are currently recruiting for a Design Coordinator to work for a regeneration company based in Salford.
Reporting to the Design Manager, the main duty of the position will be to ensure all designs and permissions are produced in compliance with contracts and designs, procurement and construction to proceed as planned. A good understanding of the company's health and safety policy will be essential.
Duties and Responsibilities to include but not be limited to;
Liaising with Commercial team members for Cost Checking
Document control and management
Completing, monitoring and maintaining records
Distributing design information
Design reviews and presentations to client teams
Leading design production team meetings
Reporting of design progress, RFI status and issues on a weekly basis
Co-ordinating and managing any BREEAM requirements and ensuring these are achieved
Monitoring of design and resolution of technical queries
Experience and Qualifications required;
Contractual requirements of design and build contracts
The Design process and resourcing requirements
Knowledge of design requirements for procurement and construction purposes
Technical understanding of substructures, structures, services and finishes solutions
Knowledge of building regulations / sustainability
Able to organise document distribution
Able to programme design works
Able to prioritise and organise workflow
Technical and process minded
