A Multi-Award-Winning Engineering and Construction services company look to appoint a full time Document Controller in the Newport area.
The company provide various services to well known clients including, Design and Build, M & E, Prefabrication and Facilities Management. The company prides themselves on quality and expertise of their staff, and skill at providing innovative and cost-effective solutions for their clients.
The main role of the successful Document Controller will be to control the numbering, filing, sorting, storing and retrieval of both electronic, and hard copy documents produced by the company's technical team, projects and departments.
Manage requests for documentation
File documents in physical and digital records and ensure appropriate storage
Review and maintain the accuracy of the records, editing where necessary to ensure they are up to date
To liaise with and distribute project related information with all levels of the project team and potentially external parties
Manage the processes around documentation within the organisation
Maintain confidentiality around sensitive documentation
Prepare ad-hoc reports on projects when required
Ad-hoc administrative opportunities
The company pay very competitively, with a basic salary of £25-28K dependent on experience with a benefits package.
There is also the potential for flexible working hours.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
Attention to detail
Excellent commuter literacy- experience using View point, or ability to pick up new systems quickly
Experience working as a Document controller with a Construction or Engineering bias
Experience working in a site-based environment
