Office based role with a reputable company offering a basic salary starting at £15K
My client has built a reputation in the industry for delivering high quality work whilst providing value for our Clients.
They operate in the educational, health, commercial, leisure, retail and residential markets in both the public and private sectors of the industry.
They are currently looking to expand their commercial team by recruiting an Estimating Administration Assistant.
The Duties of an Assistant Administrator (Estimating)
Working with the Commercial team, your duties will include:-
Downloading tender documents from web portals
Issuing subcontract and supplier tender enquiries by email
Chasing up subcontractor quotes on the telephone
Managing the receipt and issue of Contract drawings
Updating issued drawings on the server/drawing clips/A3 folders
Updating drawing registers including recording the issue of drawings to subcontractors
Printing and electronic distribution of drawings to appropriate Managers/Sub-Contractors
Answering the telephone and taking messages
Ordering stationary, dealing with the maintenance of the photocopier and printers
Converting PDF documents
Updating the Estimating subcontract and supplier database
Any other ad hoc duties as and when required
To qualify for this role the successful candidate must be:-
Computer literate - proficient with the use of all Microsoft packages
Be able to work in a pressured environment with deadlines and attention to detail
Excellent time management and organisation skills
A positive attitude
Able to pick up new skills/ to learn quickly
You will be based in the companies Head Office in North Preston (Ribble Valley).
The salary on offer starts at £15,000 - £17,000 (this is dependent on each applicants prior experience).
The working hours for this role are 8.30am- 5.00pm
