Estimator - The Client
My client currently seeks to appoint an experienced Senior Estimator whose role it will be to produce net estimates and cost plans for construction projects covering various sectors - maintenance, refurbishment and construction projects.
The company have built a strong reputation in the industry for delivering high-quality works whilst providing value for clients. Because of this they have over the years developed strong relationships resulting in repeat business from the Clients.
Operating in the Educational, Health, Commercial, Leisure, Retail and Residential markets in both the public and private sectors of the industry.
The Role of a Estimator in Construction
As a result of their growth they have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Estimator to join the company's Lancashire based Head Office and develop and lead the company's commercial team.
You will be reporting directly to the company Directors and will work within an established commercial team to produce net estimates and cost plans for a mixture of construction projects valued up to £10m.
Your duties will include:
Assessing tender documentation, identifying risks and opportunities;
Compile estimates using the causeway estimating system;
Liaise with construction professionals, supply chain and contractor's team;
Prepare documents for tender adjudication and subsequent tender submission;
Handover tender information to the commercial team.
The Person - Estimator - Construction
The successful candidate MUST have prior experience estimating for main contractors, tendering on both refurbishment and new build projects.
You must be commercial astute with a keen awareness of current legislative and climate changes within local authority and regeneration schemes.
Preferably HND (Or equivalent) qualified.
This role requires a highly resilient, self-motivated and "can-do" individual who can organise and plan their time efficiently to maximise results and delivery.
In return, you will benefit from a basic salary up to £45,000 - £56,000 (dependent on experience) plus company package which includes car allowance, company pension and holidays plus bank holidays.
