Finishing Manager - Housebuilding

Salary - £25k plus car allowance
Bromak are representing a housebuilder based in Teesside who are investing in their Customer Care team. As a result of sustained growth they are looking for a Finishing Manager to work alongside the Customer Care Manager on a permanent basis.
This position is site based; travelling to the head office in Stockton on an ad hoc basis. You spend your days conducting plot inspections, doing home demonstrations and preparing plots for handover. You will have a natural passion for customer service and be confident dealing with customers face to face. As a Finishing Manager you will report to the Customer Care Manager working on new ways to consistently provide excellent customer service. The role requires occasional over night stays away from home whist managing large amounts of apartment handovers.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Organise and set up files and documents for upcoming developments
Pre-snag all apartments and communal areas before completion of development
Liaise with site and subcontractors before and after completion on warranty issues
Carry out weekly inspections on all vacant apartments until day of handover
Collect / collate instruction and warranty booklets for all appliances installed and organise customer packs
Carry out demonstrations and handovers of apartments to owners and agents
Inspect reported snagging and warranty defect issues and arrange remedial works
Ensure that all computerised records for every plot / development are created and updated
The ideal candidate
To apply for this position you must have excellent customer service skills and be confident with I.T. Experience within the housing industry would also be advantageous.
All candidates must have the following experience or knowledge:
Computer literate, and have knowledge of Excel
Experience of property handovers / snagging procedures
Previous positions within Customer service
Must have the ability to work alone and to tight schedule
The position is based over sites in the North West and West Yorks with travel to development sites
My client offer a generous salary based on qualifications and experience plus a car allowance
This is a 6 month fixed term contract that might become permanent for the right candidate
