Our Client specialises in providing Fire Safety and Passive Fire Protection from project conception through construction to remedial works. This ranges from products that might be part of the building or installed to the building to enhance its fire protection system. They also offer qualified HS&E consultancy, expert witness services, training and guidance throughout. Due to vast expansion, they are looking to expand their Surveying & Consultancy Team and recruit a Passive Fire Protection Surveyor & Inspector.

You will be required to travel to each project/site during office hours or hours to suit each individual Client and undertake Fire Risk Assessments and provide written electronic reports. You will be based in the Clients offices in Nottingham but will be required to travel to visit sites across the Country. This will involve travelling and overnight stops, the cost of which would be covered by the Client. The Client is willing to accept a Trainee with relevant qualifications and with a good understanding of Passive Fire, Fire Protection, Fire Safety Inspection & Fire Risk Assessing
Qualifications & Experience:
Live Site Experience of Fire Risk Assessing
CFPA Certificate in Applied Fire Risk Assessment
CFPA European Diploma in Fire Prevention
NEBOSH Diploma (with accompanying CFPA Courses or PAS79 Experience)
Fire and Leadership Studies
In-depth knowledge of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 & other key reference materials.
Ability to utilise experience and knowledge in undertaking Fire Risk Assessments ideally gained in a variety of premises such as; Leisure & Hospitality, Commercial Buildings & Offices, Construction Sites, Retail Outlets, Health & Education Sectors, Licensed Premises, Industrial/Manufacturing Industries.
Experience in PAS 79 methodology and report writing
Ability to write up reports (electronically) using the new PAS79 template
Computer literacy is essential (iPad, Tablet, Laptop, word, excel, email, as well as being confident in using/adapting to new bespoke software).
