We are currently looking to recruit a Health and Safety Advisor to work on a temporary basis with a Council based in Greater Manchester.
Work would involve delivery of basic health and safety training to school staff, catering staff and other council services, audits of LA services and sites and updating health and safety policies and procedures.
The Successful candidate must be minimum NEBOSH diploma qualified/Grad IOSH with desirably 2 years' experience of working as a health and safety adviser in a large, multi-disciplined organisation.
Sufficient experience in health and safety preferably within local government setting.
Experience of audit/inspection, reviewing risk assessments and delivering training.
A DBS is required for this role.
This is a temporary position, running for approx. 6 months, starting ASAP. The rate on offer is £17.50ph.
