A regional consultancy firm seeks to appoint an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to work with various organisations nationwide. Paying a competitive basic salary of up to £40k + attractive benefits package, the company pride themselves on an impressive client base and high client retention.


To be fully responsible for the Health and Safety in every aspect throughout the business.
Production of the Pre-Construction Phase Plan as technical info received.
Production of the Construction Phase Plan as technical info received.
Liaising with technical where necessary in the pre-development process.
Checking and signing off of generic Health and Safety policies pre-tender.
Checking and signing off of site specific Health and Safety policies.
Take charge of the training matrix.
Assessing new managers for training requirements.
Organising training courses.
Assessing any individuals' requirements to initiate improved performance.
Carrying out the monthly site inspections.
Instigating improvements in between the inspection to raise standards.
Meeting and addressing sub-contractors who score low and need advice.
To be responsible for improving standards and not just marking the site.
To co-ordinate the company CDM requirements as per legislation.
Ensuring head office complies with current legislation.
Organising PAT testing.
Organising training where required to comply with current legislation.


The company pay very competitively, with a basic salary of up to £40k and a benefits package which consists of car allowance, holidays (+ statutory holidays), private healthcare, and pension.

Qualifications & Experience

A NEBOSH certificate is essential for this role including a solid background in Health and Safety roles within the construction sector.
