The Client Our client offers a range of services that enables venerable people in-home adaptions to enable them to continue to live safely and securely. Due to an internal move they are now looking for a Home Improvement Agency (HIA) Manager to join the team on a 3 - 6 month contract.
The successful Home Improvement Agency (HIA) Manager duties will be: To lead the HIA teams to deliver excellent services, maintain partnerships, negotiate and secure funding to maintain HIA services and ensure contract requirements are delivered. Responsibility for the effective management and control of the HIA's related budgets, performance monitoring and contractual obligations, ensuring value for money and ongoing efficiencies by working with key partners. To implement the HIA Business Strategy and Delivery plans in conjunction with the Head of HIA's.
Within your CV you should show the experience of: " Experience of overseeing and delivering Home Improvement Agency, social care, Health or Housing related support services. " Business planning and budget preparation/management. " Experience of managing dispersed teams
Within your CV you should show a clear understanding: " The impact that repair, adaptation and other preventative interventions play in promoting independence and supporting the needs of elderly, disabled and vulnerable customers. " Knowledge of housing related support needs of elderly, disabled and other vulnerable people.
You will need to show: " Budgeting skills. " Good negotiation, communication & interpersonal skills. " Ability to make clear written and oral reports. " Staff management.
Additionally, you will need: " You must have the ability to work outside normal office hours on an occasional basis and a willingness to respond to occasional out of hours emergency calls " Full drivers licence valid for the UK
