An 4* House Building Contractor who works regionally on 2-5 bed homes, seek to appoint a Home Sales Executive, initially on a floating basis around the Eats Yorkshire region. The applicant with ideally come from another developer, but my client may potentially consider a Trainee- coming from a strong estate agency background.
You will be reporting directly to the Sales Manager and be working on sites around the East Yorkshire region, which runs from Scarborough, down to Lincoln, so a full UK licence and transport is essential. The successful applicant will be employed, with the view to be placed on their own site following successful period of floating.
Managing administration on site whilst maintaining the highest standard of health and safety
Ensuring show homes are presented to the highest quality and escalating any issues to the appropriate Manager
Take ownership of the development, all aspects of presentation and the entire purchasing process
Promote and provide for the use of company recommended mortgage brokers and solicitors to ensure an efficient service for customers to achieve purchasing deadlines
Ensure all administrative and reporting requirements are met according to company policies and agreed time frames
Ensure that market research, price benchmarking, advertising, incentives, PR and other marketing events are undertaken proactively to provide the correct pipeline to fulfil agreed sales targets
Proactively search for target customers and create appointments and follow up leads to ensure that sales targets are met
Ensure the health & safety of customers, colleagues and other parties whilst on site in accordance with legal requirements and company policy
Follow and adhere to company procedures, and standards of performance.
The company pay very competitively, with a basic salary of £19-21k dependent on experience and a generous benefits package, and the ability to earn very competitive commission once placed on your own site.
Qualifications & Experience
Proven track record in the sales of new build homes or very strong background in estate agency
Proficient in sales techniques and conversant with all legal terminology used in the home buying process
Clear and effective communicator in both verbal and written communication
Good understanding of lenders and the financial aspects of purchasing a home
Computer knowledge and driving licence are desirable
